Our Little Pumpkin

Hi Everyone!!  Did you have a good weekend?  Mine was actually very nice.  On Saturday we went garage sailing in the morning then shopping for Halloween costumes.  Sunday we relaxed at home then did our outside chores.  I love when everything is nice and neat and in its place.  We really needed to clean up since I'd been so busy lately things started to get a bit out of control.

Thanks so to all of you that sat through my videos.  I know they were long and really needed some music.  You know I've come to realize that I really take a long time when I create.  The art journal page that I taped took me around three - four hours to do.  I spend a lot of time layering then figuring out my design once the background is complete.  I'll have to figure out a way to cut down the time in the videos.

Okay now on to some scrapbooking!  This is a layout of our 2003 Halloween, boy time sure does fly.....this little guy is almost as tall as me now.

I used a scalloped paper by Pink Paislee and a LYB frame.

He didn't wear this costume for long because it was way to hot.  Needless to say, that was the last time I bought a felt costume, lol.

Thanks so much for visiting me, I really appreciate it and always look forward to reading your comments.  I'd also like to welcome Jackie & Alicia, thanks so much for following along!!

Have a Beautiful Day Everyone!!!!

Black Cat & Little Ghost Boo Signs

Hey.....you wanna hear something funny?!  So on Wednesday I went down to Homestead to pick up some of my paintings for the craft show I'm doing this weekend, right.  So then Thursday morning I call the organizer to find out where I need to set up on Saturday and she says, "NO, it's next weekend"!  LOL, so I did all that and have been rushing for NO reason.  Yup leave it to me, lol.  So yesterday, there I am going to put everything back at Homestead and its not down the street either!  Oh well, whatcha gonna do but go with the flow!

Okay, so I've been on a roll lately!  I've finished two paintings, a witch hat and two boo signs.  Not bad huh :D  You'll have to wait til Jenn's Blog Hop on Saturday to see the paintings but here are the two new BOO signs I made yesterday:

I used a PWP background script stamp and gesso to resist on the stamp.  Then sprayed it with Crushed Grape Dylusions Ink Spray.

The black cat and BOO are by LYB.  The papers are Basic Grey.

I used the same PWP background script stamp on this tag, then inked it with distress ink.  The cute little trick-or-treater is by K&Company and the silver frame is by Recollections.

The pumpkin is LYB and BOO is by DaisyD's.  The papers are MME.

The BOO poems are on the backs of both signs.

Be sure to join us tomorrow for Jenn's Blogoversary Blop Hop.  It's an anything goes blog hop so there is gonna a nice variety of projects to check out.  There's gonna be some cool blog candy along the way too.

Thanks for coming by today, have a great Friday!!

WELCOME JOMOblog!  Thank you so much for following along!!!!

Boo Signs

Happy Thursday!!  Things are really hopping around here and I'm scrambling to keep up :D  How bout you, how are you doing this week?  I hope you're having a great one.  I'm working on some Halloween projects to take down to Homestead Handcrafts and for the craft show I'm doing on October 6th.  Last night I completed some Boo signs and I really like the way they turned out.

Aren't they cute?!  I love making these and leaving them for friends and family.  My DH, son and I all go out at night and try to be real sneaky about leaving them with treat bags filled with all kinds of Halloween goodies on their doors.  It's become one our Halloween traditions.

This cute little guy is by K&Company and my papers are My Minds Eye.

I think this one is my favorite.  It reminds me of my oldest.  He dressed up as Dracula our first year together and I got to put on all his makeup.  It was also the very thing I ever scrapbooked.  I'll share that layout with you as we get a little closer to Halloween ;D

Hey, remember my Halloween Cuties?!  Well I'm happy to report that they all found loving homes over the weekend.  If you happen to be one of the people who went by Homestead over the weekend and adopted one of those cuties, Thank You very much!  I hope you enjoy them :D

Have a Beautiful & Creative Day!!

Free Spirit

I used Little Yellow Bicycle for this layout.  I was so excited when I found LYB back in 2008 because it seemed like it was so hard to find boy themed products.  I thought FINALLY somebody made a whole line of really cool boy scrapbooking papers!
