Lego Imagination Center

I dug into my vacation album for today's post.  This double page layout is from our 2007 trip to Disney World :D

I think my son could have spent all day here just building!

Legos are still high on wish list this year.

I have so many ideas floating in my head for new project but I just haven't had the time to sit down and craft.  Maybe today........  How bout you?!  What are you working on these days?

Have a Wonderful Day!!!

Agrabah

Hey friends, I've got a really quick post for you today.  I finished a new project last night but you're gonna have to wait til the hop on Saturday to see it ;D
I dug into my vacation scrapbook for this one:

I think the patterned paper is by BoBunny but don't quote me on that.  I used the Disney Dreams Come True cartridge for this one.  I just love the bright bold colors and bohemian patterns of this layout.  Well I better get busy, my DH took the day off and we're gonna get some chores done then work on my display set up for the craft show I'm doing in two weeks.  So have a wonderful day & a warm WELCOME to Nadia!

Nadia, Thank you so much for following along :D

Young at Heart - Disney

Thank you for all you nice comments on yesterday's post "Catch of the Day", I loved reading them :D
All of my posts this week have been dedicated to my DH in honor of Father's Day so here is another one!

I dug through my scrap bin for this layout.  You can tell by looking at the orange/brown polka dotted paper, it's the negative pieces of some circles and flowers.  I cut that big heart with my Cricut and the scrolls are rubons.  My hubby just had to get his own pic with Alice, lol.  When we go to Disney, we have to go to 1900 Park Fare at least twice.  It's one of my hubby's favorite breakfast spots.  On this trip we actually ran into Celine Dion, she was coming in for breakfast too.  Boy....she looks way different without makeup!  Her security team came in before her to make sure everything was ready and then in she came in her workout clothes.
Well, hope everyone is having a wonderful week and has an even better weekend!!!

Disney Tattoo

Hello friends, I've got a layout from our trip Disney today:

When we went to Down Town Disney, my son REALLY wanted a Cars tatoo.  I'm not a fan of tatoos at all so I held out as long as I could but Daddy caved and told me to lighten up so he got his Cars tatoo.  So when I decided to scrap these pics, I journaled about my disappoval of tatoos and included some subliminal signs in the layout.  Take a look at the over all design and you'll notice that the background pattern papers form a large "X".  There is also an "X" where it says "inked".

I went for a grungy/rocker feel for the layout cuz that's what tatoos make me think of.  I cut the title using my Cricut Stamped cart.  I cut all the circles out with my Cricut too.  Well, I hope I didn't offend my tatted friends out there :D  I really liked the way this layout turned out so I wanted to share.  I'll be back with a BIG announcement, so keep an eye out!!

Thanks for all your comments on my Purple Beauty Altered Journal!!!!!

Family Fun Day

Wow, I can't believe Disney Week is going so fast.  I've been glued to my computer working for the last three days and I am so tired of it!  I'm itching to get back to creating but the bills have to get paid so my hobbies will just have to wait for things to slow back down.......  Anyway, I guess that's enough whining!  Today, I have another layout for you:
For this layout, I wanted to do something a little different for me so I started with a plain white sheet of cardstock.  I did a little stamping and added a scrap of red cardstock.  I really wanted to include a lot of photos from the parade on my layout but the images were just to busy so I decided the best thing to do was print them in black/white.  This allowed me to keep the focus on my main image and keep the layout simple.  Well break time is over so I better get back to work, take care!!

TGIF!!!!

Aloha Cuz!

Disney Week, Post #5
I used LYB for this fun layout and cut out "Aloha" with my Cricut.
Stitch was a lot of fun but we didn't like the 4-D ride at all, lol.
Gotta run, until next time!!
Thank you for all the nice comments!!!!!

Happy Life!

This is a layout of us having some fun on the rides at Disney World and my DH was being SILLY as usual.  The quote I used reads:
It is a curious thought, but it is only when you see people looking ridiculous that you realize just how much you love them~~Agatha Christie
I added a little stitching around the quote and a red rubon to draw the eye in.

I added the dots on the right hand side with a foam stamp.
Thanks for stopping by & Have a Wonderful Day!!

Boys Will be Boys - Pinocchio

I'm having so much fun going through all the pics of our last trip to Disney World, I can't believe how much my son has grown since then....time goes by way too fast doesn't it.

For this layout I used LYB and inked the edges with blue.  The yellow strip is from my scrap pile;  I thought it was a good way to tie in the yellow in Pinocchio's hat and vest.  I hope your enjoying every one's wonderful Disney projects, I know I am!

Thank you for all of your sweet comments on my Buzz Lightyear layout, I loved reading them all!!  I'll be back tomorrow with more Disney :D

To Infinity & Beyond!

Post #2 of Disney Week: Today is all about Buzz!

I love the bright colors of this layout.  I was able to find some really great alien paper and stickers that were just perfect for Buzz.  I also used some scraps of orange paper and inked all the edges to finish it off.
Thank you for stopping by, be sure to visit all my Disney Week friends!!

Capture the Magic of Disney

Hello friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was more stressful than relaxing but fortunately everything has been worked out so hopefully things will get back to normal soon.  I really thought I was gonna have to take a break from art but thank GOD I don't have to.  Anyway, today I'm doing a quick post because I have to get out and run some errands.  This is a layout from our trip to Disney:

I used my Cricut for the title and to cut the circles for my journaling.   I love journaling with my white pen :D
Well, have a wonderful day & thanks to everyone who stopped by over the weekend.  I enjoyed reading all your comments, I'm hoping to have some down time this evening to catch up on all my blog reading.

Take Care!!

Victory Lane: Disney MGM

I was going through my pics and came across this layout from our trip to Disney.  This was on  my son's 5th birthday and he was so excited to see Lightning McQueen unforntunately right after these photos were taken, he started feeling sick and we spent the rest of the day at the hotel.  He was running a fever and slept the day away, poor little guy, not the best way to spend your b-day.

Have a Great Day!!!

Free Spirit

I used Little Yellow Bicycle for this layout.  I was so excited when I found LYB back in 2008 because it seemed like it was so hard to find boy themed products.  I thought FINALLY somebody made a whole line of really cool boy scrapbooking papers!

Jolly Holiday

This is a layout I made back in 2008 using my Cricut, I printed the map background from an image I found on the web.  I used some BoBunny rubons and some 3-D embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by!!
