Happy Friday!! I don't have a new project to share today but I wanted to let you all know that I finally did it, I took the Esty plunge! I'm happy to announce that my new Etsy store, Little Honey Bee Studio is now open for business!! I've added a widget to my sidebar highlighting the paintings listed on Etsy for your convenience. I'm still selling my artwork locally at Homestead Handcrafts while I test out this new online venue. So if you browse through my online art gallery here on the blog, you'll notice that the caption will tell you where the piece can be found for purchase. If you happen to see something you like that is for sale locally, please email me and letting me know that you'd like to purchase it online. I'm really excited about this new chapter and where it might lead me, "nothing ventured, nothing gained", right!
Today I'd like to feature a new artist that I've very proud of, my son J:
J has been creating with me since he was just a baby and lately he's started to work in his art journal again. He just completed this page yesterday and I was very impressed with his lettering and sketching so I asked for his permission to share. He happy agreed with one condition, that he be allowed to write the post so I'm handing over the reigns to my budding artist:
Hey guys, Jake5man2 here and wait, How come I'm not filming on Youtube like I should be, eh? Ha ha well I am J. Gomez, Norma's son and yesterday at school, I drew this from boredom.
Well, my inspiration is from a Youtube channel called Eddsworld. Eddsworld is about the Cola loving Edd Gould, Guitar playing Tom Ridgewell, and self-loving Matt on many adventures together in their animations. Sadly Edd Died in 2012 from Leukemia Cancer (I only know that it was something Leukemia) May he be blessed in heaven with cola....
This here is my drawing of Edd holding a cola can with bold letters at the top saying "Enjoy A Cola"!!
All the pictures shown are drawings at a W.I.P Stage. it will be scanned, colored, and posted as a pm to Tomska and Eddsworld and the Eddsworld website when I'm done :)
